Congratulations to Discretion Brewing for receiving the March Marketing Award! Talk about being on top of their marketing game, we’ve taken notice since they first opened, of their social media, PR, events, strategic partnerships (beer & non-beer), branding, customer experience and the list goes on! We surprised co-owners of YuBalance Neighborhood Fitness Studio, Rory Cox and Shala Harris as they are the recipients of April's Marketing Award. During our 2018 Small Biz Mktg Rx Tour, we visited Santa Cruz to meet with the Co-Owners of Botanic and Luxe to award them with the recognition of our selecting them as May's Marketing Award winners. They have a very thorough marketing program including a keen eye for detail, which is a common characteristic of those businesses who are on top of their marketing. June 2018
June’s Marketing Award goes to Carmel Honey Company - Owned by 9th grader, Jake Reisdorf who started his business as a 5th grader, I guarantee you will be impressed with not only his marketing program but what he’s already accomplished. He was going to be featured in our Monterey Tour #Vlog but he was in Sacramento receiving a Small Business of the Year award. When he’s not manning his retail store in Carmel-by-the-Sea, he’s hanging out with renowned chefs, creating partnerships, filming his vlog, updating his 3100+ Insta fans + ensuring the world knows about the benefits of bees to the world. We’re trying to coordinate an on-camera interview w/ Jake so stay tuned, so until then follow him and see what this amazing #entrepreneur is up to.⠀

Our July 2018 Marketing Award winner is Max Muscle San Mateo. Owner, Jason Mayol is off-the-charts awesome when it comes to captivating video work to keep his thousands of Instagram fans "hungry" for his next post. But he incorporates strategic partnerships, influencers and so much more and that's why we think everyone should take a look at what Jason does to educate, entertain, and keep his loyal fans walking through his front door. In a crowded, competitive space, Jason has definitely set himself apart from his competition.
