ATTENTION ROOKIES
Click on the CRITICAL DETAILS button below and read everything. Please remember, we keep the pre-ride details off social media, since we don't want to be on the Rangers' radar and it's an invite-only, vet those you refer to it style ride since it's a social adventure ride, not a race, that caps at 21 riders.

It's 100% MTB, all preserves prohibit e-bikes, and sorry no gravel/cross bikes.

And lastly, this is a group ride on steroids, so you're participation is of your own free will, pain and suffering are a given.

SAG SUPPORT
We've just confirmed that Bryce will be our official route support! He'll be at the 4am meet up at Qwik Stop, and will travel separate but following the shuttle to be at the 6am drop zone to grab personal as well as group gear bags. He will then proceed along the route stopping at key entry/exit points and stopping landmarks so you can grab gear/food or shed items too. We'll plan to have him meet us at the Summit Store, and then he'll meet us at the finish where you'll be able to grab your gear. Stopping points will likely include:

Star Hill/Tunitas Creek
HWY 84/HWY 35
Rapley Road
Russian Ridge Entrance
Saratoga Gap Entrance
HWY 9/HWY 35
Castle Rock Main Entrance
Southern Sanborn Exit
Bear Creek/HWY 35
Summit Store
UPDATE ME PLEASE
I realize things change, so let me know right away via these email/phone links. There are a lot of moving parts and there could be alternatives for you and keep in mind there may be anxious waitlisters needing to know if they need to ramp up their training or not.

PHOTO GALLERY
For both rookies and veterans, below this section, you'll find a scrollable gallery of photos from past years to enjoy and for first timers, get a peek into what's coming!

HMB x 11 STRAVA CLUB
All confirmed and waitlist riders will be invited to our private STRAVA club so be sure to check your notifications or request to join and I'll get you in. Occasionally, I'll post stuff and you can too for CLUB members so keep an eye out in your feed.

POST-RIDE CELEBRATION
Beer Thirty will be our spot in Soquel.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
(Below this section is the "Pay to Reg to Reserve" section)

By purchasing your Shuttle ticket below, you're reserving your spot. Once we hit a waitlist situation, you'll be asked to submit your waitlist request and if there's a spot, you'll be asked to purchase your Shuttle ticket. Your fee consists of the Shuttle Ride ($60 Traditional/Short Cut or $70 100 Miler) + $5 Shuttle Driver Tip + $5 After Party RSVP fee.

SPECIAL NOTE: Your Shuttle ticket to EPICNESS is non-refundable as there are expenses involved Bryce is covering, but this covers everything mentioned above. If a wait lister does grab your spot, we'll get you your money back. This is to prevent getting a little burned in past years with last minute cancellations (one year we went from 21 to 12 riders in the last 3 weeks), this is the easiest way and appreciate many of you suggesting it.

FIND YOUR ROUTE + REG BELOW

(Pay Below To Reserve Your Roster Spot)

IMPORTANT
The number of each route's roster spots will dynamically change based on other route's sign ups + shuttle capacity + overall rider cap of 21, this page will actively reflect how many spots are left for each route (I'll try to update the page each time someone RSVP's). Currently, the 100 Miler spots are locked at 7, the count is kept low due to safety during the hour of the day riders depart, i.e. 3:30am dirt departure as well as our current shuttle capacity.

200 Miler (25k Climbing)
Registration closed. No takers, not even Scott Lesan.

---------------

Traditional Route (80 Miles / 10k / 5 Shuttle Spots Available)
as of 10/16/25 at 2:07pm
The bad ass route that started it all when Bryce convinced Miles to try out his dream of connecting all the reserves from HMB to SC back in 2013, this has become a true tradition that you have to do every Fall. You can't live + ride in SC without having done this one! This route's 6am dirt departure is right before daylight so bring that headlight for the awesome first descent into the forest!

Shuttle spots can depend on 100 Miler sign ups.

---------------

Short Cut Route (70 Miles / 8.2k / 3 Spots Available)
as of 10/16/25 at 2:07pm
While you'll ride and arrive with the Traditional Route riders, this is truly awesome, and limited to just 5 riders due to not everyone approving of us being on this trail, this allows you to bypass the hurt that is felt on the Traditional Route's first climb and continuing ascent through Skeggs. If you're lucky, you can even grab breakfast at Alice's Restaurant as you wait for the main group. And the sunrise is epic overlooking the SF Bay.

Note: Part of Traditional Route 14 seat shuttle

What Our Clients Are Saying

"I own a fitness studio in San Francisco, which requires constant marketing. We used to market on an as-needed basis, not strategically, and our business wasn't as profitable as we knew it could be. I was looking for someone to help us establish a brand image/strategy that excited people to join. Bryce encouraged us get to know our clients more than on a surface-level before our first meeting, which has turned out to be the foundation for every business decision we've made since then.

Bryce is methodical in his work -- giving us spreadsheets, handouts and homework. He's a great teacher in that he asked us questions (instead of lecturing) so we could arrive to the best marketing decisions on our own. Our sales are more than DOUBLE what they were this time last year, thanks to Bryce!! I could go on and on about everything I've learned from this invaluable experience. If you love working on your business and watching it grow, your time with Bryce will be worth every minute. It's exciting, thought-provoking and most importantly he helped us make a lot more money than we thought possible in such a short amount time!!!"
